Suspect a lot of audio/talk podcast listeners opt for $5-10 wired, lower-end Koss or Sony headphones. A $10 Sony sounds better than the $5 Koss, and is a bit more comfortable. I believe the main target audience for lower end Koss and Sony models (from Amazon) is for use by schools and businesses (and "thrifty" folks like me).

We periodically had an occasional Dell or HP server that would Not power off when the front panel switch or the network based control was activated.  Our Windows server admin would try a remote power down first, then would ask me to go into the server room and press the power button.  If that did not work, he'd tell me to go around back and remove BOTH power cords (redundant power supplies).  

The only time my home mac is powered down is during a prolonged power outage.  My backup UPS has about 2 hours run time for my MacBook Pro, voice over IP telephone, cable modem and router.  Otherwise, I just let the machine go to sleep after a set period of inactivity.  The machine is restarted and network connection dropped just before each incremental backup.   

Suspect a large amount of rack hardware may be included within third party lease agreements.  At the end of the lease, racks can either be bought-out for residual value, or returned to the leasing company (depending on the type of lease).  

With improved performance (and likely less heat output per unit of processing), cost of electricity for processors and cooling could be substantially lower.  Very few things use as much electricity as a major data center.  

Interesting.  Remember that in some states, conviction for a felony offense results in a lifetime of revoked voting rights.  

In 2020, I saw more Republicans Against Trump signs than either Biden or Trump signs.  Suspect that if GOP convention in 2020 had chosen someone other than Trump (which they could have legally done), Biden would not have won both the Popular and Electoral vote.  In both 2016 and 2020, Trump lost the popular vote.  In 2020, Trump lost both the popular and the electoral vote.  Trump helped Biden BIGLY!  I'd argue that nobody helped Biden get elected more than Trump.
